Roll Anime to Fight Mutations Guide (August 2026)

Mutations are special variants of anime fighters — the official game description lists "rare animes and mutations" as part of the core rolling loop. A mutated unit outperforms its normal version, which changes how you should roll, merge and spend Trait Shards. Here's everything verifiable about the system.

Known mutation variants

VariantHow you get itVerified by
Normal Default roll result — no mutation. Baseline for every unit in the roll pool.
Gold Rolls can land Gold variants; several codes grant them directly. Gold Kashimo (FACTIONUPDATE!), Gold Megumi, Gold Gyomei, Gold Kenpachi — all verified code rewards.
Diamond Rarer than Gold — from rolls and top-end code rewards. Diamond Tobi (NINJAUPDATEPART1!), Diamond Rengoku, Diamond Toji, Diamond Ulquiorra, Diamond Broly, Diamond Ace — all verified code rewards.

Verification standard: we only list variants confirmed by official code reward tables or the developer's own game description. Exact roll odds are unpublished — no invented numbers here.

Mutations and the roll loop

Every roll can produce a rarity (Common through Legendary and above) and a mutation variant on top. Luck bonuses affect what you pull, so mutation hunting is really luck stacking: codes with Luck Potions (SORCERERPART2! shipped two), upgrades on the Gold economy, and event boosts during Admin Abuse and update events.

Mutation FAQ

What are the exact mutation odds?

Another Slop has not published official mutation rates, and no source we cross-check has verified them by data collection. We list mechanics we can verify and skip invented percentages — treat any precise odds you see elsewhere with skepticism.

How do I get Diamond mutations?

Two verified routes: roll with stacked luck bonuses (see the roll mechanics below), or redeem codes that grant Diamond units outright — the fastest guaranteed route while a Diamond code is active.

Do mutations stack with traits?

Yes — mutation variant and traits are separate systems. A Gold unit can carry trait bonuses on top, which is what makes mutated units the preferred Trait Shard targets.

Should I merge a mutated unit into a normal one?

No. Keep the mutated copy as the merge target, never the fodder. Feeding a Gold or Diamond variant into a normal copy throws the variant away.
